Greetings from Arlanda Terminal 5! On my way to Mommy's place to chill out and cool down after a very eventful year, autumn and Friday night.
I'm not much into summing things up especially since things are still happening and going on, but here are some things I think of when I look back at the past year:
Travel
34 flights (and three more coming up this year), nine destinations (Warsaw, Paris, Vienna, Pisa, Gothenburg, Lisbon, New York, Boston, San Fran) and two continents! Awesome trips to wonderful places and great company =)
Variety of assignements
According to my company's research, a highly desirable employer offering... Finding 100% chocolate brown stearin candles, making an appointment at the doctor's for my boss for an ear-flushing procedure, making up numerous excuses for why he doesn't show up for meetings, hunting down a handy man to straighten out a carpet (daily voice messages on his cell for about two weeks), organizing a 40th birthday party, organizing two weekend conferences abroad, buying bed sets... need I say more? As my colleagues point out, I should start writing this stuff down and get published later as the real life version of Devil Wears Prada. I'll try to have it as a project for January. Oh, and speaking of the book/movie above, my boss asked me to return the DVD for him, probably to let me know that he knows. He remembered to take it easy for about a week.
October
Wine course, Cognitive Psych at Uni, teaching three fitness classes/week, intensive regular work load plus an extra project, my boss moving, me moving to my own place and a trip to Paris with Mommy. Busy has just stepped into another dimention.
Changes
Granny passed away and a year-and-a-half long relationship came to an end. Big stuff. Moving out to my first very own place.
New acquaintances
San Fran and Vienna - two beautiful cities I was lucky enough to get to see for the first time this year. The wonderful friends I made during the San Fran adventure. The cool people I met at our abroad offices. My travel buddy Floodis.
Jello
Remenescing Mirco's jello during my Portugal trip and my jello knees while presenting in front of 80 people and press.
Phases
Intensive blogging and silence. Millions of picts and times when the camera is hibernating in the closet. One thing is pretty stable - what's free time?
